Sarah Knechtle earned a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family therapy and Mental Health Counseling at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary on Boston’s north shore. She is trained in Marriage and family therapy, Cognitive behavioral therapy, Dialectical behavioral therapy, Internal family systems therapy, Emotion focused therapy, Accelerated experiential dynamic psychotherapy, and Attachment theory. As she works from a systemic perspective, she takes into consideration the client’s context, family, work, and faith, to assess their situation and collaborate to identify and accomplish therapeutic goals. She works with individuals, families, couples, and adolescents. Her interests include working with individuals to combat anxiety, depression, eating disorders and relational distress. She strives to provide a safe and collaborative therapeutic environment for her clients.
